Who out there hasn’t tried a life-hack? Whether it’s something to help with the everyday, something for work, or something for your travels, there are some great hacks out there to try. But what about for photography?
I’ve searched the internet for some of the best hacks that could be useful for all you photographers, and through a series of blog posts (coming soon) I’ll be seeing whether any of them actually work.
HereÌýare theÌýhacks that we’ll be testing out:
First up is a practically free softbox; all you need is a sheet of paper and a taste for origami (not really, but it would probably help).
SecondÌýone isn’t so much a hack, as a creative extra. In the age of Instagram filters, this DIY could add some panache to your shots.
Next is another free hack by using a business card as an internal flash bouncer. Sounds so simple, so let’s hope it’s not too good to be true.
In the same vein as the previousÌýhack, this uses a small mirror as a bouncer instead, and some cardboard to house it.
Don’t be deterred by thisÌýhack! Hopefully it won’t leave us feeling nauseous.
This looks like it might be a little more hands on than some of the others, but if the results are to be believed, I’m game for trying it.
Finally, a ‘Cheap as Chips’ light tent from that cardboard box you were going to recycle. Perfect for the occasional product photo without spending any money.
